TZVIATKO OSTOICH
    

    
Born in 1958.
Tzviatko Ostoich is a graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, where he studied book illustration and design. An established name in book illustration, advertising, and graphic design, he also works actively in drawing and watercolor landscape painting. From 1986 to 1991 Tzviatko Ostoich was the artistic editor in the "Science and Art" publishing house in Sofia. His selected works are owned by private collectors in the US, Germany, Russia, the UK and Australia.

Tzviatko's paintings transport us to a place where life stands still. Clouded in web of translucent mist, his watercolor landscapes reveal a whimsical land where serenity is simply tangible. Balancing on the knife's edge, half in light and half in gloom, Tzviatko's canvases are painfully alluring, graceful, and positive.

Tzviatko Ostoich participates in numerous general exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
In 2006 he displayed his works at a solo show entitled "Watercolor" in Bratislava, Slovakia.

1st prize in book design at the National Book Illustration Exhibition (2006)
1st prize in book design at the International Book Fair in Sofia (1993).
